Kia ora! I am an artist and educator who combines my love for art with a deep connection to materials and memory. With qualifications in painting, I teach others to explore their artistic potential while embracing the beauty in imperfection.

 My paintings are gestural, multi-layered, and abstract, evoking a sense of movement and emotion. The work often draws comparisons to landscapes, inviting the viewer into a space where nature and feeling intertwine. They are explorations of colour, texture, and feeling, capturing the essence of a place without boundaries.  

Threadlings:  Joyful creations of memory 

Threadlings are a collection of handmade personalities crafted from upcycled fabrics and materials. Textile waste is a huge problem worldwide, and recycling high quality materials is an essential part of the Threadlings creation. 

Each Threadling is a one-of-a-kind piece, inspired by the beauty of textiles, memories, and storytelling. The bespoke characters can be personalized with names and embroidery.
